It's time to get the band back together...
In August of 2015, “businessman Jack B. Gulati told Lower Alsace Township officials that he intended to build a 206-unit age-restricted community next to Stokesay Castle.” according to The Reading Eagle. Shortly thereafter, the local community began banding together to stop the development and SaveOurMoountain.org was created as a result. The more we learned about the project, the more concern arose within the community. Now these plans have been updated for a 308-unit age-restricted community and are potentially being submitted soon...

We want to ensure that our voices are heard by local government and that the views of the people (not just the rich or large corporations) are heard.
The money spent by our local government should be representative of the choices of the community and not just the few. Economic waste hurts us all and needs to be effectively managed with the proper community oversight.
